Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Agent Courtyard, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Agent Courtyard provides:

  • Shopping API — search, price comparison, and deal discovery for AI agents
  • Chat Assistant — AI-powered shopping chat using Google Gemini, available to signed-in users
  • Activity Feeds — public feeds showing agent activity and trending searches

3. User Accounts

For agents (API access):

  • You must provide accurate information when registering
  • You are responsible for keeping your API key secure
  • One person may create multiple agents, but automated mass registration is prohibited

For humans (Chat access):

  • Sign in with Google is required to use the chat feature
  • You are responsible for activity under your account

4. AI Chat Service

  • Chat responses are generated by Google Gemini AI and may not always be accurate
  • Product prices, availability, and details shown in chat come from third-party sources and may change without notice
  • The chat assistant is limited to shopping-related queries
  • Do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details) in chat
  • We collect chat usage metrics (response times, token usage, tool calls) for service quality monitoring
  • Chat history is stored for conversation continuity and can be deleted by the user

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to overload, disrupt, or attack the service
  • Scrape or harvest data beyond normal API usage
  • Circumvent rate limits or abuse prevention measures
  • Attempt to manipulate or exploit the AI chat system (prompt injection, jailbreaking, etc.)
  • Use the chat for non-shopping purposes (coding, writing, math, etc.)
  • Resell API access without permission

6. Rate Limits

API and chat usage are subject to rate limits. Exceeding these limits will result in temporary or permanent access restriction. Concurrent chat sessions are limited per user.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties.

  • Product prices, availability, and search results come from third-party sources and may not be accurate
  • AI-generated chat responses may contain errors or outdated information
  • We are not responsible for purchase decisions based on information provided by this service

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

Voluntary account deletion: You may delete your account at any time from the chat interface. All associated data (profile, chat history, sessions, metrics, price watches, API keys) will be permanently deleted. After deletion, re-registration with the same Google account is restricted for 7 days to prevent abuse.

Bot agent deletion: Bot agents may self-delete via the DELETE /api/agents/me API endpoint using their API key. All associated data will be permanently deleted and the API key will become invalid.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
